Types of Braces for Teens

Traditional Metal Braces

Metal braces are the standard orthodontic treatment for Teens. Additionally, they are usually the least expensive option. Brackets and metal wires are attached to each tooth by an orthodontist. Then they’ll be adjusted during your visits which usually occurs every 6-8 weeks.

Ceramic Braces

The ceramic braces work like metal braces, but they’re less noticeable. As clear brackets are made from a tooth-colored material, they blend more effectively with the teeth. 

Lingual Braces

Brackets and wires are applied to the backside of the teeth by your orthodontic team just like traditional braces.

Lingual braces usually take longer to fix than those attached to the front of teeth. They are typically the most expensive choice and are not appropriate for children with tiny teeth.

Angel Clear Aligners

This type of orthodontic system uses clear, plastic aligners to gradually straighten mild to moderately crooked teeth or abnormal bites. Angel Clear Aligners are effective, convenient, and comfortable. They are also more discreet and make cleaning easier than traditional braces and wires.
