CBCT
Our goal at Movement Orthodontics is to provide you with the most precise and effective orthodontic treatment possible. For this purpose, we utilize CBCT scanners, which provide unmatched accuracy and detail for diagnosing and planning orthodontic treatments. Using advanced imaging technology ensures that every treatment plan is tailored to your specific needs, thereby improving results.

How CBCT Scanners Benefit Your Orthodontic Care
- Accurate Diagnosis and Customized Treatment Planning
CBCT imaging allows us to detect orthodontic and structural issues not visible on standard X-rays. These include hidden impacted teeth, jaw misalignment, airway obstructions, and root positioning. By using 3D images, we can ensure no detail is missed, resulting in a more accurate diagnosis. Moreover, our orthodontist can zoom in, zoom out, rotate, or adjust the contrast on images to create a customized treatment plan that takes all aspects of your smile into account. - Improved Safety and Comfort
CBCT scanning is a noninvasive procedure that takes minimal time to complete. Additionally, it is much less radiation-intensive than traditional CT scans, making it ideal for frequent imaging procedures. - Planned Treatment with Optimal Outcomes
CBCT scans improve the accuracy and success rate of procedures involving orthodontics or tooth extractions.

Orthodontic Services at Movement Orthodontics
We provide a full range of orthodontic treatments designed to address various orthodontic issues, including:
Early / Phase 1 Orthodontics
Early orthodontic evaluation is critical during the time when kids start to lose their baby teeth and some adult teeth come in, usually between ages 6 and 9. If there are any issues with development or bite issues they are more easily addressed during this age range. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends all children get a checkup with an orthodontist no later than 7 years old. If treatment is deemed necessary, Dr. Dao will recommend Phase 1 Orthodontics which is designed to help guide the development of your child’s teeth and jaws while they have a mix of both baby and adult teeth.
Traditional Braces
Traditional braces are incredibly reliable and effective for correcting a wide range of orthodontic problems. Compared to the early versions of traditional braces, our modern metal braces are smaller, more comfortable, and more efficient than ever. Using braces can solve various problems, including tooth decay and gum disease caused by misaligned teeth.
Angel Clear Aligners
Angel Aligners offers a cutting-edge solution for enhancing your smile without traditional metal braces and wires. This treatment features a series of clear, custom-fitted aligners designed for discreet and comfortable wear. Under the expert guidance of Dr. Dao and with their unique features, Angel Aligners gradually straighten your teeth, helping you achieve your ideal smile.
Youth Orthodontics
Your child’s oral health can be greatly improved through orthodontic treatment and it is usually best to begin between 10 and 14 years old. The goal of youth orthodontics is to detect and correct irregularities early to ensure proper bite alignment, improve oral health, and enhance overall appearance.

Teen Orthodontics helps correct teeth and jaws that are crowded, have over- or under-bites, or are otherwise positioned improperly. We use the latest technology and techniques to correct orthodontic issues in teens during this critical growth period so that they achieve long-term oral health and confidence in their smile.
Adult Orthodontics
Having a beautiful and healthy smile is never too late. Adult orthodontic treatments can enhance your confidence by giving you a smile you’re proud of while also addressing orthodontic issues that impact oral health, speech, chewing, and nutrition.
